Tilde

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 2026

In short

Tilde does not collect, send or share any data. Everything you write lives only on your iPhone.

What the app stores

Your entries, photos, tags, moods and settings are saved in the app’s private storage on your device. No one else can access them, including us.

No accounts, no network

There is no sign-up or login. The app does not connect to any server and includes no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.

Permissions

The app asks for permission only when it needs it, and everything stays on the device: photos and camera (to add a photo to an entry), notifications (for your reminders) and Face ID (to lock the journal). You can change them any time in iOS Settings.

Backups

You can export your data to a file and keep it wherever you choose. That file is yours: Tilde does not send it anywhere. If you delete the app without a backup, your entries are lost.

Children

Tilde collects no data from anyone, including minors.

Changes and contact
